한국어 학습자의 발달 양상 연구: 통사적 특성을 중심으로

Abstract

This study aims to figure out the developmental aspects of Chinese speaking Korean language learners focusing on syntactic features. As for this, the composition works written in the classrooms are analysed. And then, the results are compared to the syntactic features found in composition works written by Korean university students, especially on the usage of complex sentences, to understand the characteristics of inter-language. It turned out to be that Korean students use more complex sentences than Chinese learners. But elementary learners use less complex sentences than intermediate learners. This tendency is the same for either linking or transformational endings; Chinese learners not only use both linking and transformational endings less frequently, but also focus on limited endings. While previous researches conducted under the framework of error analysis have provided only partial information about learners' language ability, this study could show the general aspects of learners' ability, apart from errors.
