발달지체학생의 자율행동 증진을 위한 독립, 위험 무릅쓰기 및 안전기능 지도방법 고찰

초록

발달지체학생들의 자기결정력을 증진시키기 위한 일차적인 과제는 자율성 촉진에 있다. 자율성 촉진은 독립생활ㆍ위험 무릅쓰기 및 안전기능습득에서 비롯되어야 하고 의사결정기능, 선택결정기능, 문제해결기능 등이 함양되어야 한다. 발달지체학생이 행할 선택과 학생 자신의 행동을 이끌고 다루는 정도가 그들의 삶에 대한 지속성과 구조를 제공할 수 있고 학생들로 하여금 원하는 성과를 달성하도록 허용한다는 것을 인식하는 것이 중요하다. 자기결정력을 증진하는 것에 대한 국가적인 관심은 엄청난 추진력을 지니고 있다. 그리고 많은 교사들, 부모들 및 전문가들은 학생이 자유롭게 선택하도록 보장을 해야만 한다. 하지만, 건강 및 안전과 관련해서는 학생의 자유선택이 보류될 수도 있다는 국면도 있다. 학생에게 잠재적인 위험을 포함하는 상황은 선택과 자기관리가 서비스 제공자들과 학생에 의해서 적절하게 타협이 이루어져야하는 상황이라고 생각될 수 있다.개인의 권리가 그들이 장애를 가지고 있다는 것 때문에 중지되어서는 안 되는 것과 꼭 마찬가지로 위험을 내포하는 상황에 접근이 무시되어서는 안 된다. 장애인들이 이점과 위험이 균형을 이루도록 하는 삶의 다양한 경험을 가지도록 보장해 주기 위해서 우리는 모든 노력을 다해야만 한다.독립성과 건강ㆍ안전기능 습득은 자기 주도적 교수와 문제해결교수, 자기점검, 자기평가 및 자기강화가 주요한 방법이다. 건강과 안전지도기능 지도를 위한 교육과정 영역은 가정과 지역사회생활안전, 직업안전성, 화재예방, 범죄예방, HIV/AIDS예방, 자가 약물치료와 건강돌보기, 유해물질사용 예방 등을 들 수 있다.영역별 하위 구체적 사상은 발달지체학생들 독립성ㆍ건강ㆍ안전기능 지도에 좋은 교수자료가 될 수 있을 것이다. 위에 제시된 독립ㆍ건강ㆍ안전기능의 다양한 교육과정 영역과 전략방법들은 발달지체학생들의 자율성 증진에 유용하게 사용되어 질 수 있다고 확신한다.

Abstract

One of key elements in self-determination is autonomy. First of all, it is necessary training and imitation experience activities in related to teaching independence, risk taking, and safety skills in order to promote autonomy of students with developmental disabilities. In this study, to promote autonomy of students with developmental disabilities, the followings are discussed, First, necessary of independence and safety skills acquisition, second, contends of curriculum and instruction relating independence and safety skills, the last, the researcher review how to promote autonomy. The findings helps special educators, parents, and leaders to guide self determination of students with developmental disabilities.
