게임놀이가 전반적 발달장애 아동의 상동행동 감소에 미치는 영향

전반적 발달장애 아동의 주요 결함 중 하나가 상동행동이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 게임 놀이 활동(경주게임, 언어적 지시 게임, 게임판 이용 놀이)을 적용하여 전반적 발달장애 아동의 상동행동 감소 변화에 미치는 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상 아동은 8세인 전반적 발달장애 아동 2명으로 A-B-A 설계를 적용하였고, 실험 기간은 16주에 걸쳐 주 당 3~4회 실시하였으며, 회기 당 소요 시간은 총 50분으로 하여 게임 놀이 시간 30분과 자유 놀이 시간 20분으로 진행되었다. 대상 아동의 표적 행동은 괴성지르기, 낙서하기, 귀 잡기, 끈 돌리기 행동이었다.본 연구의 결과는 게임 놀이의 적용은 전반적 발달장애 아동의 괴성지르기, 낙서하기, 귀 잡기 끈 돌리기 등의 상동적인 행동의 빈도를 감소시키는데 효과가 있었다. 이러한 결과는 게임놀이가 전반적인 발달장애 아동의 상동행동 감소에 효과가 있음을 시사해준다.
Abstract
One of the major problems of the children with a pervasive developmental disorder are inappropriate stereotypic behavior. The stereotypic behaviors have interfere with not only social adaptive behavior but also achievements of learning performance skills. The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of the game play program to decrease stereotypic behaviors. The design of this study was A-B-A experimental approach. The subjects of this study participated on the game play program from three times to four times every week for three months. Applied games play in this study were three types such as race game, game involving verbal commands, board game. The target behaviors of stereotypic behavior in this study included yelling, scribbling, covering his ears and spinning string. The results of this study suggest that game play was effective for reduction of the inappropriate stereotypic behaviors for children with pervasive developmental disorder.
