이 연구는 시각장애학교 특수교육보조원의 직무수행에 대해 교사들의 만족 수준을 조사⋅분석하여 상호 협력관계를 더욱 효과적으로 유지⋅관리하기 위한 기반을 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 이에, 전국 12개 시각장애학교 교사 202명을 대상으로 특수교육보조원의 직무 중, 3가지 지원의 15문항 설문지를 통해 도출된 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교육보조원의 개인욕구 지원 중, 화장실 사용 지원의 만족 순위가 가장 높았고, 배경 변인별로는 유⋅초등부교사가 고등부⋅전공과교사보다, 20대교사가 40대, 50대 이상의 교사보다, 그리고 정안인교사가 시각장애인교사보다 학생의 개인욕구 지원에 대해 만족도가 더 높았다. 둘째, 특수교육보조원의 교수⋅학습 지원 중, 체험활동 지원의 만족 순위가 가장 높았고, 배경 변인별로는 모든 집단 간의 상대적 차이가 나타났으나, 통계적인 유의차는 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 특수교육보조원의 문제행동 관리 지원 중, 수업시 착석 지원의 만족 순위가 가장 높았고, 배경 변인별로는 30대교사가 20대교사보다, 20대교사가 40대교사보다, 그리고 정안인교사가 시각장애인교사보다 만족도가 더 높았다. 이러한 연구결과를 중심으로 논의하였으며, 후속적인 연구에 대해 제언하였다.
Abstract
This study was performed for giving basic data that analyzing better maintain and manage mutual partnerships about teacher’s satisfactions of the job performance of special education teacher-aides for the visually impaired schools. Summarized results from the research are as follows that 15 questions of three support about the performance of teacher-aides by 202 teachers of twelve visually impairment schools in Korea. First, restroom supporting was highest about personal desire supporting special education teacher-aides. According to the background was the higher satisfaction that teachers of preschool and elementary school than high school and vocational school, age of 20th more than 40th and more 50th, the teacher without visual impairments than the teacher with visual impairments. Second, experience activity was highest about personal desire supporting special education teacher-aides. According to the background was relative differences between all groups were shown, but not reveal any statistically significant results.Third, Supporting for problem behavior management was highest about personal desire supporting special education teacher-aides. According to the background was the higher satisfaction that age of 30th more than 20th, 20th than 40th, and teacher without visual impairments than the teacher with visual impairments. There are also suggestions for further studies based on the research results.
