사회적 의사소통장애 아동의 사례를 통한 한국형 당나귀치료 프로그램의 효과

말매개치료란 말을 매개로 하여 신경작용과 감각처리과정을 향상시키는 재활지료의 방법이다. 치료사에 의해 계획된 말매개치료는 언어능력을 발달시킬 수 있으며, 기능적인 활동과 삶의 질에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 본 연구는 사회적인 의사소통에 어려움을 보이는 아동에게 당나귀를 적용한 말매개치료를 실시함으로써 대상자들의 의사소통능력을 개선시키고자 하였다. 이를 위해 사회적 의사소통장애를 가진 3명의 아동을 대상으로 한국형 당나귀 치료 프로그램을 실시하였고, 사전-사후 평가를 통해 그 결과를 확인하였다. 그 결과 프로그램에 참여한 사회적 의사소통장애를 지닌 3명의 아동 모두가 표현 어휘력과 수용 어휘력이 향상되었다. 이와 더불어 대상자들의 사회성이 향상되었다. 또한 당나귀를 활용한 승마치료 프로그램을 통해 말을 활용한 승마치료에서와 일치되는 긍정적인 효과를 확인할 수 있음이 증명되었고, 기존의 말을 활용하는 승마치료의 약점을 보완시킬 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.
Abstract
Horse riding activity can be used as a vehicle that is intimate, committing, and helps increase leadership, technique, learning and cognitive skills because it has to be conducted in intimate relationships between a horse and a rider. Only if he/she is treated by a therapist providing a planned remedy, he/she is not only able to develop his/her language skills, but also to affect dynamic activities and the quality of life. As this research(Corea Donkey Therapy Program(CDTP) in Korea model) is donkey-assisted, subjects were social communication disability children. Research methods were used to examine pre-and-post. The result for this research is as follow. First, as the result of a conducted hippotherapy with a donkey to three of social communication disability children, all of subjects improved their expressive vocabulary and receptive vocabulary. Second, all of subjects improved their sociality. Third, all of subjects improved their verbal and nonverbal communicative language skills, which are related to the attitude of communication. Last, positive effects were determined in social communication disability children. In addition, it did not need an additional staff in this experiment compared to current ippotherapy using horses, there was no difficulty performing expanded diverse programs.
