자폐성 아동의 사회적 행동의 일탈적 특성은 통합을 저해하는 요소가 된다. 따라서 아동의 성공적인 통합을 위해서는 사회적 행동을 촉진할 수 있는 중재 방법이 요구된다. 이러한 측면에서 상황이야기 중재는 자폐성 아동의 개별적인 특성을 고려하고, 사회적 단서와 그에 해당하는 적절한 상황을 제공할 수 있으므로 자폐성 아동의 사회적 행동을 증진시킬 수 있는 효과적인 중재 방법이다. 본 연구는 상황이야기 중재에 최근의 교육 환경에서 널리 활용되고 있는 스마트 교육을 적용하였다. 태블릿 PC와 교육용 어플리케이션을 활용한 상황이야기 중재를 통해 자폐성 아동의 사회적 행동에 미치는 영향과 그 결과가 유지되는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 경북 P시의 초등학교에 통합되어 있는 경증 자폐성 아동이며, 연구 방법은, 행동간 중다 기초선 설계를 사용하여 기초선, 중재, 유지의 단계로 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 중재 이후 사회적 행동 발생률이 증가하였고, 둘째, 증가된 사회적 행동 중재가 종료된 이후에도 유지되었다. 결론적으로 태블릿 PC를 활용한 상황이야기 중재가 자폐성 아동의 사회적 행동을 증진하고, 유지하는데 효과적이므로 이러한 중재가 교육 현장에서 효율적으로 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다.
Abstract
Deviational characteristics of the social behavior of the child with autism spectrum disorder deteriorates the integration. A successful integration of the child requires a intervention methods that can promote social behavior. In this aspect, social story intervention is considered as an effective intervention method to enhance the social behavior of the child with autism spectrum disorder as it takes the individual charac teristics of the child with autism spectrum disorder into account and provides social cues and situations appropriate for them. This study applied smart education, the latest educational trend, to social story intervention to examine the influence of social story intervention using tablet PC and educational application on the social behavior of the child with autism spectrum disorder and whether the result remains. For the study, child with the light case of autism spectrum disorder integrated into the classes of Elementary School in Pohang City were examined, and tests were performed in the stages of baseline, intervention, and maintenance using the multiple baseline across behaviors. The result of this study is summarized into the following; first, the incidence rate of social behaviors increased after intervention, and second, the increased social behaviors were remained even after the intervention. In conclusion, it implies that the social story intervention using tablet PC is effective for enhancing and maintaining the social behavior of child with autism spectrum disorder, and therefore, such an intervention can be effectively used in education.
