Ayres Sensory Integration® 중재의 과정요소에 영향을 미치는 요인: 작업치료사의 개인적 특징과 역량, 치료지원환경 중심으로

본 연구는 작업치료사 228명을 대상으로 Ayres Sensory Integration®(ASI) 중재의 과정요소에 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 설문조사하였다. 설문조사의 내용은 작업치료사의 개인적 특성, 역량, 치료지원환경, ASI 중재의 과정요소 수행정도로 구성되어 있었다. 연구 결과, ASI 중재의 과정요소와 관련성이 있는 요소는 연령, 학력, 경력(개인적 특성), 교육 횟수(치료사 역량), 평균 하루환자 수, 치료 회기당 시간(치료지원환경)으로 나타났다. ASI 중재의 과정요소에 영향을 미치는 요소는 치료사 역량인 교육횟수이었고, 7.9%의 설명력을 보였다. 치료와 관련된 다양한 교육 및 연수를 통한 치료사 역량 강화는 치료의 질적 향상을 위해 도움이 될 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate to find out factors on the process element of Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) for 228 occupational therapists. The contents of the survey were consisted of personal characteristics, qualifications of occupational therapist, supporting environments of therapy, performance of the ASI process element. The results of this study were that: (a) the process element of ASI was related to age, education and experience (personal characteristics), educational count (qualification of occupational therapist), the average number of patients per therapy session (supporting environment of intervention). Educational count was predictive of the process element of ASI, accounting for 7.9%. Therapist qualification through a variety of education and training for intervention will help to improve the quality of care.
