지적장애학생을 위한 미술치료 및 미술교육 관련 실험연구 동향 분석: 최근 5년간(2013년∼2017년)을 중심으로
An Analysis of the Experimental Studies on Art Therapy and Art Education for Students with Intellectual Disabilities: Focusing on the Latest 5 Years (2013-2017)

본 연구의 목적은 최근 5년간(2013∼2017년) 지적장애학생을 위한 미술치료(교육) 관련 국내 학위논문 및 학술지 논문의 연구경향을 분석하였다. 학술논문 발표검색 사이트 검색을 통하여 43편을 최종 선정하고 논문 편수, 항목별 비율, 빈도 등을 분석하여 표로 제시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 전체 논문의 연도별 편수는 2017년 12편으로 가장 많았으며, 발행 유형은 학위논문이 34편, 학술지논문이 9편이다. 둘째, 실험연구의 연구대상은 남학생 124명, 여학생 51명으로 나타났다. 대상학생 수는 1∼3명 이하 18편, 지적장애 3급 68명으로 가장 많았다. 실험장면은 미술 치료실 12편, 기타(복지관, 센터) 23편으로 나타났다. 실험기간은 2개월 이하가 17편, 2개월 이상∼4개월 이하 16편으로 나타났다. 실험회기는 10회 이상∼20회 이하 30편으로 가장 많았다. 셋째, 실험연구논문의 연구설계는 통제집단 사전사후검사설계가 17편으로 가장 많았다. 넷째, 연구의 독립변인은 미술치료가 33편이었으며, 그 중에서 집단미술치료 20편으로 가장 많았다. 종속변인은 정서 및 사회성 발달이 32편이었고, 그 외 인지·언어·운동발달 등과 같은 전반적 발달에 중심을 둔 연구도 시행되었으나 그 수는 상대적으로 미비하였다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 미술치료(교육)의 시작된 시점부터 총체적인 연구동향과 다른 장애영역의 미술치료(교육)에 관한 연구동향을 분석해 볼 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to analyze the research orientations of the South Korean degree theses and journal articles related to the art therapy and art education for students with intellectual disabilities for last 5 years (2013-2017). The search of the research paper publication and search sites has come up with the final selection of 43 papers and the analysis of the number of papers, ratios by categories, frequency etc. has been presented on the tables. The research has come up with the following results. First, 2017 got the largest 12 papers, with 34 papers published for degrees and 9 papers for journals. Second, the subjects of the experimental studies included 124 male students and 51 female students. 18 papers involved 1 to 3 college students, with the largest group with 68 of them classified as Grade 3 intellectual disability. As for the experiment scenes,12 papers are set in art therapy room and 23 papers are set elsewhere (like welfare center or center). As far as the experiment duration, 17 papers took 2 months or shorter and 16 of them took between 2 and 4 months. As for experimental sessions, the largest group with 30 papers had between 10 and 20 sessions. Third, as far as the design for the experimental research, the largest group with 17 papers involved pretest and posttest for the control group. Fourth, as far as the independent variables for the research are concerned, 33 papers involved art therapy, out of which the largest group with 20 papers had group art therapy. As for subordinate variables, 32 papers involved emotional development and development of sociality. There were also studies focusing on the cognitive, language, and kinetic development in general, but in a small number. Based on the research results, further studies will have to analyze the overall research trends from the start of art therapy (education) and those for art therapy (education) in other disorders.
