『표준국어대사전』의 전문어 표제항에 대한 사전학적 분석 - 식물 영역 전문어를 중심으로-
Lexicographic Analysis on Terminology Entries on Pyojun Korean Unabridged Dictionary -Focused on Botanic Terminology-

This study aims to analyse entries of botanic terms in Pyojun Korean Unabridged Dictionary and to show the ideal methodology of term description in the monolingual dictionary. The traditional study of terminology was focused on the discrimination between word and term and it was supposed that the discrimination is always clear. Rapid techonological progress led to an explosion of new concepts which needed to be named. However it is difficult to delimit the scope of term or terminology. Word is essentially polysemous that word can be used to refer a concept in subject specific areas and used to refer more than one concept. Pyojun Korean Unabridged Dictionary should show all of them systematically for both the general users and the professional users. In addition, it should describe all kinds of definition, in other words the terminological definition and general definition. Lastly we show how to give exemplification, usage and scientific name.
