Abstract
This study aims to shed light on further evidence the associations between HPWS and oranisational performance. Using a sample of 993 Korean firms within 2009WPS, we tested the hypothesised associations between HPWS and indicators of organisational performance. The results supported the notion that HPWS was positively related to labour productivity and sales per person, and negatively associated with employee turnover. Also, we found that operational performance had a statistically significant mediating impact on the relationship between HPWS and corporate financial performance. Further implications are discussed in conclusion.
