Abstract
On the background that the larger neo-liberalistic globalization becomes, the more important regional labor movement becomes, the purpose of this paper is to evaluate the reality and suggest the improvement scheme of the vitality in regional organizations of Korean Confederation of Trade Union(KCTU) in the focus on Busan regional organization/council. Beforehand, this paper evaluated the reality of Busan regional council in line with per vitalization strategy dimension as organizing, solidarityㆍcoalition, political activity and restructuring and found that the practice which can be conceptualized as revitalization strategy does not exist almost. Based on this result, and in the consideration with structural limits and prerequisite, this paper suggested the improvement scheme in line with per vitalization strategy dimension as organizing, solidarityㆍcoalition, political activity and restructuring. Also in consideration with the effect of organizing strategy on political strategy, solidarity strategy and restructuring strategy, this paper suggested that Busan regional council must push ahead organizing strategy above all.
