Abstract

This writing aims at verifying the way of thinking of Zhuang Zi's Qi Wu Lun in Yeon Am Park Ji-won's philosophical thought by way of a specific philosophical subject and concrete cases. The two subjects of this writing pay attention to the criticism of the discovery of inter-existence and a propositional view of the world, and the reflective perception and the denial of discrimination of social minorities. This writing sees the thinking model of Zhuang Zi's Qi Wu Lun projected in Park Ji-won's ontological view of the world as inter-existence, and discusses Park Ji-won's critical consciousness of the aim of the life of being a Taoist Hermit and the sublation of a daily propositional view. Through these discussions, Park Ji-won's philosophy that attempts to sublate and overcome the dichotomous separation of daily thinking and the propositional falsificity of worldly life is certain to be connected with the thinking way of Zhuang Zi's Qi Wu Lun. This writing also discusses the reflective perception and the denial of discrimination of social minorities in Park Ji-won's philosophical thought as a method of verifying the concreteness of applying the thinking of Zhuang Zi's Qi Wu Lun to realities. For this topic, this writing verifies mainly (1) the perceptional change and communication of low-class workers, (2) the negation of legitimate children and illegitimate children and the suggestion of 'communication theory', and (3) the perceptional change and consideration of women's problem. The connectivity of the critical consciousness and communication spirit in Park Ji-won's philosophical thought is verified by these discussions. Nevertheless, this writing does not premise that Park Ji-won's academic identity is Taoist philosophy or Zhuang Zi's philosophy. This is because Park Ji-won was an undeniable intellect of Confucianism and one of the Confucian noblemen in the eighteenth century of the Joseon Dynasty. This writing simply extracts the characteristics of Zuang Zi's philosophy among the various aspects of thought in Park Ji-won's philosophical thought, and the meaning and connectedness of the thought on the consideration of Zhuang Zi's Qi Wu Lun.
