초록
These days, firms are faced with rapidly changing managerial environment, so how to cope with these changes properly is rising as a crucial task. In this regard, tourist hotels seek to enhance the quality of human service and force their employees to treat customers with friendly and polite way of talking, irrespective of their psychological and physical conditions. This causes the gap between employees' real inner emotion and their outward show, making them leave their job in the end. To ascertain this relationship empirically, this study conducted a survey in the metropolitan region, and analyzed 203 copies of the questionnaires, using the statistical packages of SPSS Ver. 20.0 and AMOS 5.0. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, employees' job of less importance and their sense of incompetence has a statistically significant positive effect on emotional disharmony. Secondly, while the importance of the job features and the sense of incompetence has a statistically significant effect on employees' intentions of leaving their jobs, the importance of the job itself has no significant effect. Thirdly, with respect to the relation between emotional disharmony and the intention of leaving one's job, the former is shown to have a significant effect on the latter, so the hypothesis is supported. Finally, with regard to the mediating effect of hotel-enterprise employees' emotional disharmony, analysis shows no mediation in the importance of the job feature, perfect mediation in the importance of the job itself, partial mediation in the sense of incompetence.
