This research focuses on identifying the determinants of visit demand for a coastal destination, Oryuk-do in Busan. which is a main gate to Busan Metropolitan City. To attain the purpose, demographic characteristics, motivations, and types of preferring tourism facilities are included in the applied demand model as explanation variables. With relation to data analysis, in case that the dependant variable is count data that shows distribution of a discrete random variable, the choice of an appropriate model is required to apply. So, Truncated Possion model was utilized to estimate the significance of independent variables input in the model. As a result, visitors to Oryuk-do mostly consisted of men of more than 40 years of age working for white collar job and professional career, who don't prefer Special Interest Tourism. Furthermore, they are visiting to enjoy the Oryuk-do's attractiveness and realize their own special purpose, not with accidentality
