본 논문은 트랜스 휴먼과 포스트 휴먼으로 대변되는 4차 산업혁명 시대의 인간을 존재론적으로 숙고해보기 위한 시도이다. 오늘날 우리가 우려하는 것은 인간의 존재론적 토대가 과학기술(NBIC(Nano-Bio-Information-Cognitive/나노, 바이오, 정보통신, 인지)에 의해 대체될 수 있다는 것이다. 트랜스 휴먼과 포스트 휴먼의 미래에 대한 철학적 성찰은 생명공학과 유전공학에 의해 생의 인문학적 토대의 상실에 대한 문제의식으로부터 시작된다. 그리고 인간의 자연적 조건을 극복하고자 했던 과학적 시도와 기대가 오늘날 시작된 것이 아니듯이, 철학 역시 이 문제를 2500여 년 동안 사유해왔다. 철학적 인간학은 수많은 논쟁과 성찰 속에서 인간의 본질을 묻고, 다시 그 지위를 숙고할 수 있게 해주는 철학적 방법론으로서의 역할을 해줄 것이다. 이러한 의미에서 본 논문은 "인류애"를 보편적 사랑이 아니라, 자기 자신에 대한 사랑으로 전환하는 니체의 철학적 시도를 그의 철학적 인간학의 토대로 규정하고, 이로부터 인간의 본질적인 인간다움의 조건에 대하여 알아볼 것이다.
Abstract
This paper is an attempt to contemplate ontologically humans in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, represented by transhumans and posthumans. What we are concerned about today is that the human ontological foundation can be replaced by science and technology (Nano-Bio-Information-Cognitive/Nano, Bio, Information and Communication, Cognition). The philosophical reflection on the future of transhumans and posthumans begins with a consciousness problem about the loss of the humanities foundation in life due to biotechnology and genetic engineering. And just as scientific attempts and expectations to overcome human natural conditions did not begin today, philosophy has contemplated this problem for over 2,500 years. Philosophical anthropology will serve as a philosophical methodology that allows us to question the essence of Human and recontemplate its position amid numerous debates and reflections. In this sense, this thesis defines Nietzsche's philosophical attempt to convert humanity into love for oneself, not universal love, as the basis of his philosophical anthropology, and from this, we will examine the conditions of humanity essential to humanity.
