필자는 이 글에서 ‘포스트-휴먼’의 특성을 개괄하며 4차 산업혁명의과정에서 제기되는 ‘과학 기술’과 ‘인간성’에 관한 문제를 윤리학적 관점에서 살펴보고자 한다. ‘호모사피엔스’(Homo sapiens)적 생체 진화가 아닌기계화로 진화한 인간의 미래상에 대한 양가적 관점이 당분간 지속되겠지만 본 글에서는 다음과 같이 크게 3가지로 논지를 전개하고자 한다. 첫째, 과학 기술에 대한 거시적 담론으로 ‘포스트-휴먼’에서 ‘포스트’ (post)에 대한 찬반의 비판적 시각을 통해 인간성에 대한 성찰을 강조하고자 한다. 둘째, 미시적 담론으로 ‘포스트-휴먼’을 4차 산업혁명과 연관지을 때 제기되는 과학 기술의 윤리적 사안들에 대하여 살펴보고, 셋째, ‘포스트-휴먼’에 대한 기독교 윤리학적 과제에 대하여 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
The author will summarize the characteristics of ‘post-humanism’ and will examine from an ethical perspective the issues regarding the ‘science technology’ and ‘human nature’ that surface in the process of the fourth industrial revolution. The ambivalent attitude regarding the future of humanity which has evolved with mechanization, an attitude that no longer considers the biological evolution of ‘Homo sapiens’ will be examined. From there the research will unfold its thesis in three ways. Firstly, as a macroscopic discourse on scientific technology, the introspection on the human nature will be stressed through the critical perspective of the pros and cons of the ‘post’ from the ‘post-human’ will be laid our. Secondly, as a microscopic discourse, the ethical issues of the scientific technology that come up when ‘post-human’ is related to the 4th industrial revolution will be examined. Thirdly, tasks of Christian ethics regarding the ‘post-human’ will be proposed. Fundamentally, the author will keep in mind the alternative discourse that overcomes the west-centered ‘posthuman’ discourse and develop the thesis from the perspective of Christian theology
