The purpose of this study is to examine the subjective perception types of 2-year and 4-year college students majoring in airline service on the occupational images of flight attendants using Q methodology. 25 Q-statements were extracted from research articles and in-depth interviews with the professors who have experience working as a flight attendant. These statements were sorted by 28 P-samples each of 2-year and 4-year college students. The results showed that subjective perception of 2-year college students could be divided into three types: 'Focus on additional benefits' and 'customer service attitude' and 'foreign language skill' For 4-year college students two types are classified: 'external image and working ability, additional benefits. Especially the type involving 'additional benefits' was perceived positively in both groups. The results of analysis is expected to establish the professional occupational images of flight attendants and be used as educational materials necessary for career exploration and preparation of college students and undergraduates.

Abstract
