This study was conducted on university students majoring in dancing to investigate into their consciousness and decision-making about future career. Thus, this study sampled a total of 621 dance major students attending capital region university as research subjects through proportionate stratified sampling. The research results are as follows: First, regarding dance major university students' career consciousness, it was found that in general they were not so positive about their success possibility through dance. However, freshmen showed the highest expectations for their success. Regarding the possibility as one's occupation, they were found to be optimistic about it. Second, the rate of dance major university students who made a decision about their career was shown as 51.4% in general, and the rate was found to be higher in higher graders. Male students showed a relatively higher rate of career decision-making compared to female students. Among those who made a decision about their career, dance-related fields were 73.1%, with showing a higher rate in male students than female counterparts. Finally, this study found that groups of students who made a decision about their career had bigger expectations for their success through dance and bigger conviction about their occupational vision compared to the others who did not make a decision.
