The purpose of this study was to understand the form of the conflict of professional identity experienced by the school dance arts instructor. Furthermore, this study analyzed the occupational identity conflict struc ture they experienced and tried to implement a paradigm about the overall process. Grounded theory method was applied. For this purpose, the first study participants were selected using the purposeful sampling method and a total of 8 study participants were adopted by applying the snowball sampling. The data collection was carried out primarily using in-depth interviews. The central phenomenon showed the establishing dance art in structors’ occupational identity conflict. The detailed results as follows. First, the concepts and categories of the occupational identity conflict per ceived by the dance arts instructor were extracted, and 101 concepts, 13 subcategories, and 7 upper categories were derived by open coding. Second, the conflict structure of the professional identity of the artistic instructor was analyzed and a paradigm model could be made based on it.
