The purpose of this study is to analyze and apply Holistic Dance Education Paradigm which sets and develops integrated body and mind for Dance Education. Based on such paradigm, I selected “Authentic Movement” as an alternative teaching method which, to my analysis, may well serve as a leading role in Dance Education. Thus, this study focuses on reestablishing the concept of Authentic Movement as well as discovering its educational im plications. In conclusion, Authentic Movement can be an effective measurement of holistic and integrative Dance Education that pursues balanced and harmonious development of both body and mind. Moreover, Authentic Movement has a Holistic Dance Educational significance that allows self-reflection through physical movement and eventually self-growth.
