유치원 교육과정에서 교사의 힘/지식에 관한 연구

본 연구는 유치원 교육과정에서 교사의 힘/지식이 어떠한 모습으로 나타나는지 그리고 어 떤 요인들과 연관되었는지를 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 유치원 3, 4, 5세 교실의 하루 일과를 총 50회 동안 참여 관찰하였다. 연구 결과 유치원에서 교사의 힘/지식은 하루일과에서 공간·시간·놀이 구조화하기, 교실에서의 기본생활습관 형성하기, 집단생활하기, 바른 태도로 놀이하기 등으로 나타났으며, 유아의 연령, 교사의 신념, 유치원 분위기 및 운영 방침, 부모와 사회의 기대 등의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 유치원 교육과정 운영의 실제는 교사 요인 뿐만 아니라 제반의 사회문화적 여건과 함께 논의되어야 한다는 시사점을 도출하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analysis how the teacher`s power/knowledge are revealed and what factors are related in early childhood teachers` practice through early childhood curriculum. For this study, participant observation in daily life of three different kindergartens and in-depth interviews with the teachers were conducted for fifty days. The findings of this study suggest that the teacher`s power/knowledge is realized at such as space, time, play construction in daily activities, forming basic life habit in classroom, living as a group, playing with a right manner. And such a teacher`s power/knowledge is affected by the age of children, teacher`s belief, the circumstance and the policy of the kindergarten, parents` anticipation and social needs. From the results of this study, we conclude that we should consider general and social-cultural conditions adding to the teacher`s power/knowledge in the management of early childhood curriculum.
