학제적 접근을 통한 실용 중심 가상강좌 개발 사례연구

주제를 중심으로 하는 학제적 교과과정은 학습자로 하여금 지식을 자신의 실생활과 연계시킬 수 있도록 하여 학습의 실제적인 전이 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 본 연구는 수도권 지역의 한 대학에서 학제적 접근을 도입한 가상강좌의 개발 사례를 분석해보았다. 구체적으로는, 개발과정에서 설계와 운영 측면에서 어떠한 요소들을 고려해야 했는지를 살펴보았고, 그러한 요소들을 고려하여 개발된 강좌에 대한 학생들의 만족도 수준을 알아보았다. 개발과정에서는 다양한 교수진으로 인해 내용상의 일관성 확보 문제, 강의 유형의 통일성 유지 여부, 내용의 난이도 해소 문제 등이 설계상 고려해야 할 사항으로 파악되었다. 또, 운영과 관련해서는 차시별 운영 주체 문제, 차시별 문제 운영 여부, 적정 학생수와 조교 확보 문제, 중간 면대면 실습 병행 여부, 학습자와의 상호작용 방법 등이 고려해야 할 중요한 요소로 인식되었다. 본 강좌에 대한 학생들의 만족도는 매우 긍정적으로 나타났다. 학생들은 수업 주제에 높은 관심을 보였고 학습내용의 실용성과 면대면 실습 병행에 대해 매우 높은 만족도를 보였다. 본 사례는 학습자의 관심에 부합하는 주제를 중심으로 다양한 영역들을 통합하는 학제적 접근이 대학의 가상강좌를 개발하는 데 매우 효과적임을 보여준다.
Abstract
Interdisciplinary approach is known to be very effective because it facilitates learners to see how they can apply what they have learned to their real life. However, it has not been actively utilized especially in terms of designing university curriculum. In this respect, this study was intended to develop a cyber course on how to manage fatness using interdisciplinary approach and look at closely what issues should be considered as well as the learners' reactions to this course. In the process of developing the course, many issues were considered such as how to integrate various specialties in order to create one unified course, who should interact with the students during the course, etc. Overall, it appeared that the students were very much satisfied with the course. Especially, they liked the content and face-to-face practical exercise. This study shows that interdisciplinary approach is a very effective way of designing a cyber course at a university level.
