학제간 통합교과 개발 및 블렌디드형 협동학습 모형 적용 연구

Abstract

This study is to contribute to organizing and managing regular curriculums by semester and instructional systems in higher education which are integrated with an effective instructional support system (development and application of the cooperative learning model) built after prototype development of interdisciplinary educational programs (interdisciplinary curriculum between human science and social science). Especially, in order to support effectively self-directed and cooperative learning of students from diverse majors, we developed and applied a variety of cooperative learning models using the blended e-learning instructional support system which are supposed to overcome the traditional, text-based transfer model used widely in the field of human science and social science. Based on the current trend of academic convergence, first of all, this study is to develop new convergent curriculum which realizes thematic integration between human science and social science, and then develop small group based cooperative learning models to maximize learners’ competency and performance, and lastly applied them to the newly developed disciplines. By doing these, we expect new innovative cases in higher education classrooms. In short, this study is going to develop new innovative cases featured learner-centered instruction by developing interdisciplinary curriculums between human science and social science and applying cooperative learning models to them. Practical classroom teaching cases supported by this study showed the way of developing effectively interdisciplinary curriculum between human science and social science and how the learner-centered learning community approach can be applied to develop the cooperative models. Also, we expect the flexible curriculum development and classroom management cases through knowledge sharing and dissemination (interdisciplinary thematic discussion and cooperation) in the human science and social science. Further, the study results will reveal a model case which can be distributed and shared among universities under similar conditions, and eventually promote productive curriculum development and innovative instructional system through academic/interdisciplinary knowledge community, creative knowledge production and dissemination, and improvement of learning performance.
