SNS기반 협력학습 성과에 대한 공유정신모형의 예측력 규명

본 연구는 SNS기반 협력학습 성과를 예측하는 요인을 분석하여 SNS를 활용하여 협력학습 환경을 설계하거나 실천하고자 할 때 고려해야 할 지침을 제공하고자 SNS기반 협력학습에 참여한 41명의 대학생을 대상으로 과제관련, 팀관련 공유정신모형이 학습성과인 팀 효능감, 학업성취도를 예측하는지 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구에 참여한 학습자들은 4-5명씩 한 팀으로 구성하고 페이스북 그룹페이지를 활용하여 학습내용에 대한 토론, 자료 공유 및 주어진 프로젝트를 협력하여 해결하도록 하였다. 연구결과, 팀관련 공유정신모형은 팀효능감을 유의하게 예측했지만 과제관련 공유정신모형의 예측력은 유의하지 않았다. 반면, 과제관련 공유정신모형은 학업성취도를 유의하게 예측했지만, 팀관련 공유정신모형의 학업성취도에 대한 예측력은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 SNS를 활용한 학습에 대한 관심이 높아지는 요즘, SNS를 협력학습에 활용하는 가능성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 공유정신모형의 예측력을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 향후 SNS기반 협력학습 전반에 걸쳐 공유정신모형을 촉진시키는 전략이 고려되어야 할 것을 시사한다.

Abstract

This study aims to provide direction and guidelines to design or implement SNS Supported Collaborative Learning (SSCL) with the purpose of examining the effects of task-shared and team-shared mental model on team efficacy and learning achievement. The research questions in this study are two-fold: 1) do task-shared and team-shared mental model predict team efficacy in SSCL? 2) do task-shared and team-shared mental model predict learning achievement in SSCL? The subjects were 41 students who participated SNS Supported Collaborative Learning and were analyzed by correlation analysis and step-wise multiple regression analysis. They used SNS group page on facebook for sharing and discussing information. The major findings of this research are as follow: first, team-SMM predicted team efficacy significantly, however, task-SMM did not. In addition, task-SMM predicted learning achievement significantly, but team-SMM did not. In conclusion, this study suggests that SNS Supported Collaborative Learning course should be designed to facilitate task-SMM and team-SMM. The further theoretical and practical implications of these results are discussed.
