Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of teachers’ acceptance levels of the AI-based teaching and learning platform ‘Hi-Learning’ and suggest improvements to enhance the platform’s effectiveness in educational technology. The study involved 232 teachers from schools piloting ‘Hi-Learning.’ Through latent profile analysis, the teachers' acceptance characteristics were categorized, and specific improvement plans for each acceptance group were identified. The results that teachers could be divided into four acceptance levels based on indicators such as self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and intention to use: ‘Skeptical Users,’ ‘Cautious Users,’ ‘General Users,’ and ‘Leading Users.’ Each acceptance level had different priorities for improvement, particularly in areas like personalized education, assessment and feedback, learning content, and system UX. The findings suggest that differentiated improvement strategies are necessary, reflecting the diverse acceptance levels and individual needs of teachers, to successfully implement AI-based teaching and learning platforms. This study provides recommendations for the effective adoption and use of educational technology, aiming to promote the development and utilization of AI-based teaching and learning platforms.
