초록

In this paper we will analyze the poetry of Mapuche women, putting it in dialogue with key concepts of the Mapuche philosophy, recognizing that the work of indigenous women in general and, in our case, especially that of Mapuche women poets, forms a dynamic and critical struggle that constantly debates and reflects on the complex situation of indigenous peoples and their female groups in Latin American national societies. On the other hand, we seek to recognize and underline the lyrical elements that point to the visibility of historical problems of the Mapuche people and the way in which they are approached discursively by these poets. We propose that despite the difference in age and place of residence or birth, since in Chile around 50% of the Mapuche live or were born in cities far from their ancestral communities, Mapuche feminine poetry is nurtured, sometimes conflictingly, of related elements especially linked to their worldview.
