Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new criterion for evaluating revenge problems. The criterion we introduce is related to the necessary conditions for the resolution of semantic paradoxes. We will demonstrate that this condition is satisfied by the 'designated values' of LP and K3. Simply put, over-determinism based on LP and under-determinism based on K3 are not free from revenge problems. In the process, we will show that the 'designated value' is an essential semantic element for overdetermined and underdetermined concepts of 'truth.' We will also present the characteristics of the revenge problems introduced in this paper while refuting possible criticisms, especially those based on the use of classical metalanguage.
