교사들이 인식한 유아의 혼자놀이 유형과 유형별 특성에 관한 Q방법론의 적용

본 연구는 Q방법론을 적용하여 교사들이 인식한 유아의 혼자놀이 유형과 유형별 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 G지역의 유치원과 어린이집 교사 38명이다. 본 연구에서는 유아의 놀이 유형 관찰, 현장교사들과의 인터뷰, FGI를통해 28문항의 Q진술문을 작성하였고, P표본은 유치원과 어린이집 교사 38명을 선정하였다. 자료분석은 PQmethod 2.35프로그램으로 이루어졌다. 연구결과 주성분분석에서 고유값들과 고유값 간격을 종합적으로 살펴보았을 때 유아의혼자놀이 유형은 5가지가 가장 적합한 것으로 판단되었다. 유아의 혼자놀이 유형은 자발적 혼자놀이 유형, 내성적혼자놀이 유형, 정적 혼자놀이 유형, 창의적인 혼자놀이 유형, 수동적 혼자놀이 유형으로 명명하였다. 유아의 혼자놀이에대한 유형별 특징을 살펴본 결과 자발적 혼자놀이 유형은 독립적으로 스스로의 즐거움을 찾아 경험하고, 내성적혼자놀이 유형은 내성적이고 소극적으로 놀이를 하며, 정적 혼자놀이 유형은 자신만의 놀이에 따라 혼자놀이를 하는것으로 나타났다. 창의적인 혼자놀이 유형은 놀이를 통해 자신의 생각과 개성을 적극적으로 표현하고, 수동적 혼자놀이유형은 타인의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아를 현장에서 지도하는 교사들이 혼자놀이를 하는 유아들에대해서 어떻게 인식하고 있는가를 구체적으로 살펴보았다는 데 의의가 있다고 본다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze teacher's subjective perceptions about solitary play of children using Q methodology. 28 Q statements were made by the meeting of FGI group. P samples were selected from 38 kindergarten and daycare teachers. Data analysis was conducted with PQmethod 2.35 program. As a result of the study, five types of children's solitary play were named as voluntary, introspective, static, creative, and passive solitary play. Voluntary type’s children used independent time and found their own enjoyment. Introspective type’s children had introverted personality playing passively. Static type’s children played alone according to their own play. Creative type’s children actively expressed their thought and personality thereby creating new rules or play. Passive type’s children experienced pleasure through play.
