박계순, 이왕록. 점진적 최대 운동시 혈장 Glutathione Peroxidase 변화량에 관한 연구. 운동과학, 제11권 제1호, 77-84, 2002. 이 연구의 목적은 점진적 운동부하를 탈진적 수준으로 실시하여, 이때 점진적 운동 강도가 체내 항산화 효소인 글루타타이온 과산화효소(GPx)의 농도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이었다. 연구의 피험자는 건강하고 심폐계 및 대사질환의 병력이 없고, 훈련되지 않은 대학원생 10명(28.2±2.6세)으로 선정하였다. 먼저 사전실험에서는 3회에 걸친 트레드밀 달리기(Bruce protocol)를 실시하여 각 피험자의 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% 및 100%의 최대산소섭취량과 젖산역치(LT)를 획득하였다. 본 실험에서는 사전실험에서 획득한 각 운동시점(운동단계)마다 4㎖의 말초혈액을 채취하여 ELISA(Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) 분석법을 통하여 체내 항산화 효소인 GPx를 측정하였다. 실험 분석 후, SPSS 8.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 각 운동시점(운동강도)에 대한 일원변량분석을 실시하였으며 유의도는 .05로 설정하였다. 그 결과 젖산 역치의 경우, 운동 개시 9분 시점부터 젖산 축적의 급격한 증가를 나타내었으며 이는 최대산소섭취량의 65.8%에 해당되는 강도로 나타났다(p<0.05). 그러나 혈장 글루타타이온 과산화 효소의 경우, 운동강도가 점진적으로 증가함에 따라 어느 정도 증가하였으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내지는 않았다. 이상의 실험 처치를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 점진적 최대운동부하에 따른 각 단계별 운동강도는 GPx의 농도변화에 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 판단된다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of plasma glutathione peroxidase(GPx) concentration during the progressive maximal exercise test and to identify whether there is a certain exercise intensity resulting in the high concentration of GPx. The subjects were 10 healthy graduate students(28.2±2.6yr) without any metabolic disease. In the 3 times pretest(treadmill running, Bruce protocol), the 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and 100% of O2max were determined. In addition, the lactate threshold(LT) was analyzed during the pretest. In the head test, the concentration of plasma GPx were determined by ELISA(Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay). After analysis, The mean and SD were determined by SPSS 8.0ver. and One-way ANOVA was applied as a statistic. The significance was .05. The results were shown that the LT(lactate threshold) was 65.8% of O2max. However, there was no significance in the change of plasma GPx concentration. Therefore, it seemed that the concentration of plasma GPx could not be changed by a certain exercise intensity during the progressive maximal exercise.
