Abstract
The study was to examine that effective isotonic contraction exercise and Ischemia-Reperfusion after isotonic contraction exercise on SOD, CAT, GPX activity between elite athletics and normal people. The subjects in this study were divided into 2 groups according to their age (7 Judo athletics, mean age 21.60±1.05yr, 7 normal university 21.86±0.85yr) without any metabolic disease. The experiments were performed at the isotonic contraction maximum exercise (dumbbell arm curl 18-20RM for biceps) and ischemia-reperfusion test (blood flow was occluded by inflating a cuff about the upper arm to 230mmHg in sphygmomanometer) at the gym in Hanyang univ. In the main test, the blood samples were taken 3 times by 2 groups (before, immediately, recovery 15min), 8cc blood were collected each with heparinized1-ml syringes. The blood antioxidative enzyme level of subjects were analysed after blood sampling. The effects of isotonic contraction maximum exercise and ischemia-reperfusion after on isotonic contraction exercise on blood activities antioxidative enzyme (SOD, CAT, GPX) change between Judo athletics and normal people were as follow: The SOD result were shown ischemia- reperfusion after on isotonic contraction maximum exercise between 2group were decreased Judo athletics than normal group (p<.001). However, the ischemia- reperfusion test between group within SOD were increased in Juod athletics than normal group (p<.05). The CAT result were shown a ischemia- reperfusion test within CAT were increase in Judo athletics than in normal group (p<.001) The GPX result were shown a ischemia-reperfusion test within GPX were activities decrease in elite than in normal group. It is conclusively suggested that ischemia-reperfusion induced increase of oxidative stress increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes by maximal isotonic contraction, and these increase is higher in Judo athletics than in normal group.
