Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the variables and influences that affect the loyalty of uni versity education. In this stud y, based on previous studies, a comprehensive model explaining the loyalty of students about university education was developed. Also, in this stud y, we set the variables of instructional service, non-instructional service, physical education environment, perceived quality, cognitive satisfaction, affective satisfaction, and loyalty. To pursue the purpose of this study, data were collected from students attending A university in the metropolitan area. And structural equation modeling was used to explore the structural relationships and influences among variables. Through this stud y, first, we found that affective satisfaction had the greatest direct or indirect impact on loyalty to university education. Second, we found that perceived quality had the secondly greatest influence on students' loyalty to college education, both directly and indirectl y. Third, we found that instructional service and non-instructional service had influence on students' loyalty to college education through perceived quality and satisfaction. Especially, through this study, we could find out the close relationship between 'instructional services→perceived quality/cognitive satisfaction/affective satisfaction→loyalty' and 'non- instructional services→affective satisfaction→loyalty'. In this study, theoretical and practical discussions and implications were presented.
