Abstract
This study analyzed the trends in technology-supported research to improve self-monitoring for children and youth with autism spectrum disorders. A total of 23 studies were selected and analyzed in terms of the study design, technology, interaction method, target behavior, monitoring factors, and results. The following results were derived. 1) Most of the developmental studies utilized various data by mounting several subroutines or additional devices. 2) Development research programs are designed to be used in the overall daily environment. 3) In intervention studies, most programs were designed to present questions and respond to them at regular intervals. 4) In intervention studies, many studies set target behaviors to check one's behavior during class. Based on these findings, discussions and recommendations for follow-up studies were proposed.
