본 연구는 회복적 생활교육 실천 과정에서 나타나는 어려움을 분석하고, 체화된 언어를 중심으로 한 대안을 제시하였다. 연구자의 13년간 교육 경험과 Morrison 원전 및 국내 문헌 65건을 분석한 결과, 기존 접근이 문제 발생 전후 개입에치중하여 생명의 일상적 흐름을 간과해온 점이 실천 어려움의 근본 원인으로 드러났다. 삼각형 도식은 이러한 관점의산물이면서 동시에 한국 교육의 서열 문화와 결합하여 학생 낙인을 강화하였고, 문제 언어가 이를 재생산하는 기제로기능하였다. 반면 보편적 욕구에 기반한 필요 중심 언어는 안전과 연결을 촉진했다. 이에 본 연구는 몸챙김과 비폭력대화를통합한 ‘체화된 언어’를 토대로 ‘회복적 관계망’ 모델을 제시하였다. 체화된 언어는 신체 감각과 정서를 매개로 관계를형성하는 수행적 실천으로, 안녕계·안녕저울·필요-충분 순환이라는 도구를 통해 교육 현장에서 관찰하고 표현할 수있는 방식으로 구체화하였다. 이 모델은 위계적 삼각형이 아닌 순환적 원형 구조로, 중심이 유동하며 모든 구성원이돌봄 주체가 된다. ‘안녕하세요’라는 인사말에서 이미 상대의 안녕을 묻는 한국 문화는 회복적 관계망과 자연스럽게연결된다. 본 연구는 Morrison 모델의 통찰을 계승하면서도 한국 교육 맥락에 적합한 존재론적 재구성을 시도했다는점에서 의의가 있으며, 향후 실증 연구를 통한 효과 검증이 필요하다.
Abstract
This study examined the structural limitations of triangular schemes widely used in restorative life education and proposed the 'Restorative Network' model as an alternative. Drawing on the researcher's 13 years of teaching experience and critical analysis of Morrison (2007) and 65 Korean documents, the study found that triangular schemes, when combined with Korea's hierarchical culture, operated as a 'normal-crisis' structure. Problem-oriented language such as 'problem child' functioned as a mechanism reproducing student stigmatization, while needs-based language like 'What do you need?' facilitated safety and connection, enabling creative problem-solving. This study proposed the Restorative Network model with a circular rather than hierarchical structure, integrating Bodyfulness and Nonviolent Communication into 'embodied language.' Embodied language operates through somatic expression and embodied effects, functioning as performative practice that transforms relationships and structures. This study contributes by attempting ontological reconstruction appropriate for Korean educational contexts while maintaining the core insights of restorative practices. Future empirical verification is needed to examine the model's effectiveness in diverse settings.
