정치이론과 현실 개념에 관한 윤리적 검토

이 논문은 기존 정치이론과 그 현실 개념을 윤리 측면에서 검토한다. 삶의 현실과 역사현실을 직시하기 위해서는, 기존 정치이론의 현실 개념처럼 너무 좁고 간단한 현실 개념으로부터 벗어나서, 보다 넓고 면밀한 현실 개념을 확보해야 한다고 이 논문은 주장한다.근현대 서유럽 정치이론 대부분이 존재론적 정치이론이라고 할 수 있다. 이 존재론적 정치이론은 ‘잘못 가정된 일치의 오류’를 범하고 있고, ‘그 이론을 필요로 하는 사람들의 궁극적 윤리나 가치’에 관하여 무관심하거나 아예 이론적으로 차단하고 있다.이 존재론적 정치이론은 현실 개념을 ‘필연의 현실’이 아니면 ‘자유의 현실’이라는 너무 좁고 간단한 의미내용을 담아 사용하면서, 그 양자 사이의 가교는 물론 교두보조차 마련할 여지를 남겨두지 못하게 되어, 그 양자 사이의 변화과정을 제대로 설명할 수 없게 되며, 결과적으로 현실의 여러 변화과정을 잘 이해할 수도 없고 설명할 수도 없는 부실한 이론이라고 할 수 있다.따라서 새로운 정치이론은 ‘우연’이 ‘현실’에 개입할 여지를 남겨둠으로써 ‘그 이론을 필요로 하는 사람들의 궁극적 윤리나 가치’에 관한 근원적이고도 절박한 관심을 기울일 여지를 이론적으로 확보할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 그럼으로써 새로운 정치이론은 현실의 다양한 변화과정을 직시하는 데에 보탬이 될 수 있는 가능성이 그만큼 클 것이며, 또한 그 이론을 필요로 하는 사람들의 현실을 ‘좋은 현실’로 개선해가는 데에 보탬이 될 수 있는 가능성 또한 그만큼 클 것이다.
Abstract
This paper intends to review the existing political theories and the concept of actuality from ethical perspective. This thesis insists that the political theory has to leave so narrow and simple concept of actuality in the existing political theories and take more wider and closer concept of actuality to face the actual state of life and history. The most of modern and contemporary western political theories belong to the ontological political theory which makes ‘the fallacy of assumed unification,’ and which doesn't have the least interest in ‘the ultimate ethics or value of those who need the theory’ or blocks out the ultimate ethics or value theoretically. Because the ontological political theory cannot set aside a room for the theory to establish even the bridgehead as well as the bridge between the two actuality using the concept of actuality containing so narrow and simple meaning of ‘an actuality of Necessity’ or ‘an actuality of Liberty,’ it cannot explain the changing-process between the two, at the results it is proved to be the poor theory which cannot understand, nor explain the various changing-process of the actual state. So, a new political theory has to set aside a room for chance to involve in the actuality, it also theoretically has to set aside a room to have deep and urgent interest in ‘the ultimate ethics or value of those who need the theory.’ At the results it has a strong possibility that it can help us to face the various changing-process of the actual state as it does, and moreover that it can help them to improve ‘the actual state of those who need the theory’ to ‘good state’ as it does.
