1997년 아시아 외환위기, 2008 글로벌 금융위기를 겪은 후 경제 성장 중심의 신자유주의의 문제점을 반성하면서, 서양에서 일어나고 있는 새로운 성장 모델에 대한 추구의 움직임들이 있다. 본고는 이점에서 동양적 기업 윤리 탐색의 필요성에서 유교적 입장에서 본 기업 윤리, 즉 儒商 倫理를『논어』를 중심으로 논의하였다. 최근 기업의 사회적 책임에 대한 기본적인 요소는 ISO26000의 기준에 따라 기업 윤리에서 인권, 공정, 인간관계 등이 중시되면서, 그 간의 이윤 중심의 기업 환경을 성찰하는 움직임들이 엿보인다. 이 점에서 동양적 특히 유교적 입장에서 본 기업 윤리 즉 儒商 倫理에는 어떤 내용들이 고려되어야 하는지를 서술하였다. 그것은 인간의 이기심과 탐욕을 절제, 제거하는, 인간의 기본적인 도리에 충실하면서 타인에 대한 배려와 사랑이 그 핵심 내용이다. 그것은 仁義에 의거한 마음 경영이라 볼 수 있으며, 이에는 기업가의 개인적 수신의 내용인 仁知合一 윤리, 기업가로서의 리더쉽의 내용인 성실과 믿음을 중심으로 선을 행하고 악을 피하려는 忠信合一의 윤리, 끝으로, 의로움이 바탕이 된 이윤 추구인 義利合一의 윤리가 그 핵심 내용이다.
Abstract
I am trying to find the Confucian business ethics(儒商 倫理) by this article based on Analects. Generally speaking, Western business ethics consists of several elements. The key element is weighing econometric growth. In that point, we need to establish an Eastern business ethics which emphasizes human inner growth and self-cultivation. In the mean time, we endure two kinds of big problems ; Asian foreign exchange crisis 1997 and global finance crisis 2008. At these situations, we need to discuss more efficient factors for business ethics worldwide. Besides Western formal factors of business ethics, we need to consider different other essential elements from Eastern, Confucian business ethics. Firstly, enterprisers must do self-cultivation by union of benevolence and knowledge(仁知合一). This is a individual aspects of business ethics. There are filiality-brotherly love(孝悌) and self-control(克己), purification of nature and emotion(性情涵養), self-reflection(examination) and just moral judgment. Secondly, leadership as a enterpriser by loyalty and mutual credit(inter-business credit)(忠信合一). In this, diligence, honesty, frugality, just(直) ethics, reverence, faithfulness etc. Lastly, the pursue of profit by the union of righteousness and profit(義利合一). In this, justification of pursue of righteous profit, the attitude of taking pleasure in living in poverty.
