Abstract

North Korea is more ideological than any other country in the world. Understanding the socialist morality that reflects North Korea's ideology is a starting point for understanding North Korea. This paper analyzes the concept of socialist morality in North Korea, focusing on the literature published in North Korea. In North Korea, socialist morality strengthens the unity and unification of political ideology, centering on the party and the leader. And it raises people's moral responsibility for socialist revolution and construction, so that they devote themselves to the struggle for socialist construction. The socio-political life theory is that when the leader, the party, and the masses are united, they can live forever as socio-political creatures. This theory is the basis of collectivist morality, which puts the interests of the group and society before individual interests, and sacrifices individual interests for the interests of the group and society. In North Korea, morality is the norm of social behavior that members of society must conscientiously observe for the harmony and development of social and collective life. The standard of good and evil is the demands and interests of the popular masses. Happiness comes when we fulfill our human duty as a social being. A study on the commonality of moral epistemology and moral knowledge between South and North Korea helps to lay the foundation for resolving conflicts and peaceful coexistence by finding a common ground before the different actors check each other's differences.
