Abstract
The aim of moral neuroscience is providing deep and comprehensive understanding about the causes and mechanisms of human morality. Its strengths lie in identifying the hidden process of human mind. Nowadays moral educators face dual tasks in that they should find ethical problems of neuroscience research and at the same time they should aware the implications of neuroscientific research results to our present moral education. In this regard, this article tried to present new paradigm of moral education in an age of neuroscience based on the literature analyses of both neuroethics and moral neuroscience. This article focused on finding moral issues caused by introducing neuroscience technology. In addition, this article delved into the educational implications of moral neuroscience studies to current our moral education. In an age of moral neuroscience, it is desirable that moral education seeks to maintain a sound balance between reason and emotion, explicit knowledge and implicit knowledge, reasoning and intuition, and furthermore deliberative mind and intuitive mind. As role models and moral mentors for students, moral educators should create caring and facilitative environments that emphasize reasoning and intuition simultaneously.
