인공지능시대에 도덕적 수월(秀越)의 리더십

한국사회는 6. 25전쟁 이후 산업화와 민주화를 이룩한 선진국이 되었다. 경제발전만으로 행복과 번영을 성취하지 못했다면 인간본성(本性)의 이해가 미흡했기 때문이다. 키에르케고어(1813-1855)에서 영원을 사모하는 인간본성은 윤리적 행위로 검증된다. 인공지능 시대에 도덕적 수월의 리더십을 인간 존엄에서 찾는다. 인공지능을 통한 의사소통은 더욱 정교해지고 있다. 인간 존엄이 전제되어야 인공지능에서 올바른 기대를 갖는다. 인공지능에 대해 자아의 지평(地坪)을 확장하는 적극적 측면과 가능한 현실에 대한 지나친 낙관을 함께 고려해야 한다. 사회적 책임을 중시하는 윤리적 삶은 ‘윤리적으로 실제 살 수 있는가?’라는 근본적 물음에 직면한다. 자아의 형성에서 실존적 불안과 절망은 결정적 계기다. 도덕적 수월의 리더십은 사회적 영향력을 발휘하여 삶의 질(質)적 번영을 가능하게 한다.
Abstract
After Korean War, Korean society became a developed country that achieved industrialization and democratization. If economic development alone can not have achieved happiness and prosperity, it is because the understanding of human nature is insufficient. In S. Kierkegaard(1813-1855), human longing for eternal life is to be verified objectively by ethical behavior. In the age of artificial intelligence, leadership of moral excellence is to be founded in human dignity. Human communication through artificial intelligence is becoming more sophisticated. Assuming human dignity, we have the right expectations in artificial intelligence. But artificial intelligence should be considered by both the positive aspect of expanding the horizon of the self and excessive optimism about possible reality. An ethical life that values social responsibility is faced with the fundamental question: ‘Can we live in practice ethically’? Existential anxiety and despair are decisive moments in the formation of the self. Leadership of moral excellence exerts social influence and enables to prosper quality of life.
