Abstract
Human relationships and society are rapidly changing due to AI (artificial intelligence). The industrial revolution driven by AI is blurring the boundaries between humanity and materiality, with a speed and impact that is incomparable to previous industrial revolutions. In the EU, the birthplace of humanities, preparations are being made to add AI humans to natural persons (人間) and legal persons (法人) in laws and social systems, and the boundaries of humanities that were clear before the AI era, that is, the realm and concept of humanities, have become ambiguous. With the emergence of AI that has superior capabilities to humans while exhibiting human-like characteristics, we are faced with the need to review the existing natural human-centered human. As AI learns on its own and shows human characteristics and becomes increasingly involved in real life, this paper preliminarily explores what state ‘human in the AI era’ is in? Also, what state ‘saramdaum’, ‘human nature’, and ‘ethics’, which view moral behavior and human relationships from different perspectives, are in the AI era? If we actively respond to the changes of the AI era that humanity has never experienced before, humanities will be able to have new development opportunities, but if we become immersed in the existing human-centered approach, there is a risk that humanities will lose its effectiveness. Therefore, it is urgent to establish the meaning and scope of ‘personality’, ‘humanity’, and ‘ethics’, which are the foundations of human-centered humanities, from the perspective of posthumanities and establish a value system for the AI era. Follow-up research from various perspectives is necessary.
