이 연구는 삶의 출발선을 결정하는 우연과 운의 문제를 사회정의론과 관련하여 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 공정한 절차를 위해 삶의 출발선의 교정이 필요하다고 할 때 그 기준이 인권이 아니라 자존감이라는 근거를 롤즈와의 논증을 통해밝혀내고 우리 사회가 궁극적으로 추구해야할 가치를 ‘우연적 연대성’으로 제시하는데 있다. 다시 말해, 우연의 재분배를 통한 운명공동체라는 사회적 의식을 창출하고자 한다. 운에 대한 철학적 논의는 ‘도덕적 운’과 ‘맹목적인 운’을 구분하고 도덕적 책임과 권리문제를 제기하면서 맹목적인 운에 대해 어떤 책임을 물을 수 없다는 딜레마에 봉착한다. 정의를 합리성에 국한하지 않고 감정의 차원으로 확장할때 좋음과 옳음의 선차성 논증보다 더 중요한 것은 우연과 운의 최소화를 위한 사회적 제도의 마련이다. 우연과 운에 따른 불평등과 차별을 방치하다보면 정의감과자존감의 손상이 발생하기 때문이다. 모두 함께 살기 위한 공존의 윤리를 세우기위해 무한경쟁의 논리에 매달리는 자본주의에 맞서 귀족주의의 이념(노블레스 오블리제)으로 사회적 갈등을 해결할 수 있는지 니체 철학을 중심으로 고찰한다.
Abstract
This study raises the need for correction of the starting line from the pointof view of the social philosophy of the luck and contingency of life. For thispurpose, a sense of Justice and human rights, as well as criteria for self-esteemcan be as key concept revealed through demonstration. In the end we need topursue a society of community togetherness and social consciousness called theaccidental coincidence through redistribution of fate. The discussion about themoral responsibility and rights in ‘moral luck’ and ‘blind luck’ can pose aproblem, because blind luck can’t be held responsible for. Nevertheless, thediscussion about Justice is not limited to a generation, but included as a matterof justice between the generations. The ethics of solidarity need to establish thecoexistence, incidental togetherness concept. Against the logic of infinitecompetition in the capitalist aristocracy, 'noblesse oblige' principle provides away to solve social conflicts.
