초록

The purpose of this study is to verify dynamic EMG differences according to weight and waterbag vest wearing in push movements among the most frequently used movements in badminton game. In the realm of athletic training, methods that consider the specificity of sports are crucial. Training while wearing a waterbag vest, utilizing an inertial load of water, holds the advantage of being highly applicable to transferable training. However, research in this area is still limited. In this study was executed to verify the effect of training wearing a waterbag vest that considers sports specificity and training transfer well during badminton training on injury prevention and functional dynamic stability in racket sports. In this study, 16 female badminton players (age: 20.31±0.91, height: 167.07±5.15, weight: 63.62±6.12) were divided into 8 weight and 8 waterbag vest groups, respectively, and muscle activity in 6 parts in the abdomen and lower extremities was measured through EMG to analyze the effect on dynamic stability of each group. The measurement section measured and analyzed the difference in muscle activity between wearing a waterbag vest and a weight vest after landing in the lunge position in the push motion. The EMG analysis results for the six muscles measured in this study are as follows. The average muscle activity of the water vest wearing group is significantly greater than that of the weight vest wearing group in the rectus femoris, semitendinosus, semimembranosus, external oblique, and internal oblique muscles (p<.05). It was found to be high, and there was no significant difference in the biceps femoris muscle. In conclusions, the movement of wearing a waterbag vest using an inertial load of water has been shown to be effective in increasing the stability of the lower extremities and torso during the deceleration of the athletes by causing higher muscle activity than the weight vest due to unpredictable irregular water movements.
