응급실 간호사의 법의간호학적 역할 수행에 미치는 영향요인

초록

본 연구의 목적은 응급실 간호사의 법의간호학적 역할 수행에 미치는 영향 요인을 확인하기 위함이다. 연구방법: 본 연구의 대상자는 B시에 소재한 권역응급의료센터 1개소, 지역응급의료센터 1개소, 200병상 이상의 지역응급의료기관 7개소에 근무하는 간호사 중 응급실 경력이 최소 6개월 이상의 간호사를 대상으로 하였다. 자료 수집은 2013년 7월 1일-7월 31일까지였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 19.0 program을 이용하여 실수와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수 및 위계적 다중회귀로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 대상자들의 일반적 특성에 따른 법의간호학적 역할 수행의 차이는 전체적으로 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 법의간호학적 역할인지와 법의학적 관심도는 순 상관관계(r=.29, p=.001), 법의간호학적 역할인지와 법의간호학적 역할 수행은 순 상관관계(r=.54, p<.001)를 나타냈다. 법의학적 경험과 법의간호학적 역할 수행은 순 상관관계 (r=.26, p=.004)를 나타냈다. 대상자의 법의간호학적 역할 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인은 법의간호학적 역할인지(β=.50), 법의학적 경험(β=.24, p<.001) 순으로 나타났으며, 법의간호학적 역할 수행에 대한 설명력은 총 35.9%이었다. 결론: 이상의 연구 결과 응급실 간호사의 법의간호학적 역할 수행에 미치는 영향 요인은 법의간호학적 역할인지와 법의학적 경험으로 규명되었다. 법의학적 경험을 높이기 위해서는 각 의료기관의 사정에 맞게 교육과 훈련하는 날을 정하여 간호사를 대상으로 간접적인 경험을 높이도록 해야 할 것이다. 교육과 훈련과 함께 주기적으로 평가도 시행되어야 하며, 이렇게 훈련된 간호사를 응급실에 배치함으로 인해 업무의 능률과 효율성을 향상시킬 것이다.

Abstract

Purpose: Purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing forensic nursing performance role of Emergency Department(ED) nurses. Methods: The study was conducted with 120 ED nurses from Busan. Data were collected during July, 2013 and analyzed using SPSS Win 19.0 program. Results: There were positive correlations between awareness of the forensic nursing role and forensic interest (r=.29, p=.001), between awareness of the forensic nursing role and forensic nursing performance role (r=.54, p<.001), and between forensic experience and forensic nursing performance role (r=.26, p=.004). Awareness of forensic nursing role (β=.50, p<.001) and experience in forensics (β=.24, p<.001) were significant predictors of forensic nursing role performance and explained 35.9% of the variance. Conclusion: To improve forensic experience, medical institutions should provide education and training for ED nurses to increase their indirect experience. Periodic assessment should also be done. Nurses with training assigned to the ED will enhance the forensic nursing role performance.
