회계 교육 시스템은 급격한 학생들의 변화를 경험하고 있다. 그 중 하나가 학생 성격의 변화이다. 본 연구는 S대학교 회계 전공 학생들의 성격유형에 따라 전공 관심도에 영향을 주고, 그것이 학과 만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 학생들의 성격유형을 측정하기 위하여 2001년에서 2017년 사이에14번 걸쳐 검사한 회계 전공 학생들의 MBTI 결과를 활용하였다. 분석결과 회계 전공 학생들의 감각형(S) 비율이 감소하고, 직관형(N) 비율이 증가할수록 학과 만족도에는 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 검증되었다. 이것은 통계적으로 의미가 있다. 둘째, 기능별로 회계 관련 직업에 적합하다고 여겨지는 ST 형의 비율이 감소함에 따라 학과 만족도에는 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 검증되었다. 그 반대 유형인 NF형의 비율이 증가함에 따라 학과 만족도에는 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 검증되었다. 이것은통계적으로 의미가 있다. 이런 연구 결과는 학생들의 성격 변화에 따른 새로운 회계학 학습 전략 도입을 요구하고 있다.
Abstract
Accounting education system is undergoing the changes of students, especially those of their personality trait. In this paper was analyzed the impact of personality trait change of students on the change of students' major satisfaction. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) for assessing personality trait across a period of 15 years was applied. A regression analysis was applied for testing the hypothesis. The result showed that the increasing ratio of intuition(N) type students and the decreasing ratio of sensing(S) type students had a significant negative effect on students' major satisfaction; that the increasing ratio of NF type students and the decreasing ratio of ST type students had a negative effect on students' major satisfaction significantly. This study presents an empirical evidence that the ratio of intuition(N) type students are increasing and the ratio of sensing(S) type students are decreasing. Proceeding researches showed S-N types had the important effect on learning style of students. And the personality trait change of students in accounting major requires the new design for the accounting learning strategies.
