성격유형과 학업적 자기효능감이 경영학 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

이 연구는 대학생들의 성격유형과 학업적 자기효능감이 경영학 학업성취도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보기 위해 수행하였다. 즉, 성격유형이 학업적 자기효능감에, 학업적 자기효능감이 경영학 학업성취도에, 성격유형이 경영학 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 세 가지 가설을 설정하여 검증하였다. 이를 위해 경영학전공 대학생 172명을 대상으로 MBTI 성격유형검사와 학업적 자기효능감설문조사를 하였으며, 학업성취도는 성적의 총평점 평균으로 하였다. 요인분석을 통해 자신감, 자기조절 효능감, 과제수준 선호 등을 학업적 자기효능감 변수로 하였다. 자료는 SPSS Statistics 18.0을통해 빈도분석, 교차분석, 요인분석, t-검정, 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과, 성격유형은 학업적 자기효능감에 영향을 미치며, 학업적 자기효능감은 경영학 학업성취도에 영향을 미치고, 성격유형은 경영학 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 성격유형에 부합하는 학업적 자기효능감 관점에서 경영학을 학습한다면 학업성취도는 더 높아질 수 있다는 점을 확인하였다. 학업성적의 부진을 분석하여 학습결과를 예측할 수 있다는 연구결과는 교육현장에서 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이며, 향후 다양한 변수의 발굴과 연구설계 등 연구의 필요성이 제안되었다.
Abstract
This study examined the effects of university students` personality type and academic self-efficacy to the scholastic achievement in business administration. The participants in this study were 172 undergraduate students taking management courses. Our hypothesis is that personality type and academic self-efficacy plays an important role in a student understanding of business administration. Subjects of this study were given the MBTI and academic self-efficacy scale questionnaire. The analysis of results has been performed using SPSS Statistics 18.0 for frequency, factor analysis, t-test, multiple regression. The results of this research suggest that the personality type of MBTI do affect the students` academic self-efficacy, and the students` academic self-efficacy do affect the scholastic achievement in business administration, and the personality type of MBTI do affect the scholastic achievement in business administration. The effective learning strategies have to be considered for personality type, academic self-efficacy for better education.
