Abstract
This study was conducted to understand the effects of variables related to corporate training and wages on innovations that are important to the maintenance and development of companies. The resource-based perspective of human resource management was reflected in the process. From this point of view, it is necessary to motivate key workers in charge of important business tasks to learn new knowledge by conducting intensive training, and to actively use the learned knowledge to actively carry out strategic tasks. In the longitudinal analysis, it was found that the number of training programs and the maximum-minimum wage gap were found to affect innovation. The large number of training programs in companies means that, in addition to basic training for all workers, there is a lot of training to learn new specialized knowledge necessary for companies. In addition, if there is a large gap between the maximum-minimum wage in the company, it means that the core workers who contribute a lot to innovation are paid to motivate them. Also there was no synergy effect of bundling of the two variables. In other words, it was found that the systematic application of the two systems that had a positive effect did not have a significant effect on innovation. Implementing the two systems together seems to be a burden among workers. This shows that it is necessary to introduce such system gradually, because in Korean companies, where the collectivist culture had traditionally been established, dividing and managing workers into core workers and non-core workers can cause conflict among members.
