장애인의 차별경험에 대한 잠재집단분류에 따른 정신건강 및 건강행동의 차이

초록

이 연구는 장애인의 차별경험에 대한 잠재집단분류에 따른 정신건강과 건강행동의 평균차이를 살펴봄으로써, 실제적으로 차별경험이 정신건강과 건강행동에 조절변수로 기능하는 가를 판단하는 데에 목적이 있다. 표본은 PSEDSW 1차년도 자료(n=4,089)를 이용하였고, PSEDSW에서 제시하는 차별경험, 장애스트레스, 타인의존, 정서적 행복, 일상생활만족, 건강지각, 신체활동 수준을 측정변수로 활용하였다. 분석방법은 잠재 프로파일 분석과 One-way ANOVA를 적용하여 연구문제를 검증하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인의 차별경험은 세 가지 유형의 잠재적 집단으로 분류되었다. 잠재 프로파일의 형태는 차별경험을 낮은 수준으로 지각하는 집단, 중간 수준으로 지각하는 집단, 높은 수준으로 지각하는 집단으로 나타났다. 둘째, 분류된 잠재 프로파일에 따른 정신건강의 차이를 분석한 결과, 장애스트레스, 타인의존, 정서적 행복, 일상생활만족 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 분류된 잠재 프로파일에 따른 건강행동의 차이를 분석한 결과, 건강지각, 신체활동 모두에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 이 연구는 차별경험이 실제로 심리적 영역과 건강행동 전반과 깊게 연결되어 있다는 점을 지적하였고, 이에 대한 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in mental health and health behaviors according to the latent profile classification of people with disabilities, and to judge whether the discrimination actually functions as a moderating variable for mental health and health behaviors. The sample was PSEDSW first year data(n = 4,089), discrimination experience, disability stress, other dependence, emotional happiness, daily life satisfaction, health perception, and physical activity level were used as variables in PSEDSW. The analysis method was verified by applying the latent profile analysis and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study are as follows. First, discrimination experience were classified into three types of latent groups. The types of latent profiles were classified as low level perception, medium level perception, and high level perception of discrimination experience. Second, as a result of analyzing the mean difference of mental health according to latent profile, there was statistically significant difference in disability stress, other dependence, emotional happiness, and daily life satisfaction. Third, as a result of analyzing the mean difference of health behavior according to latent profile, there was statistically significant difference in health perception and physical activity level. Based on the above results, this study pointed out that the discrimination experience is in fact deeply connected with psychological domain and general health behavior, and implications for the results and suggestions for follow up research are presented.
