장애인 차별경험 변화유형에 따른 스트레스 궤적에 대한 연구

초록

연구 목적: 본 연구는 종단적으로 장애인의 차별경험의 변화유형을 파악하고, 각 유형에 따라 스트레스 궤적이 어떠한지를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 장애인의 차별경험의 변화유형을 파악하기 위하여 장애인고용패널조사의 2차 웨이브 1～6차 조사를 분석자료로 활용하여 장애인 4,152명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구의 목적에 따라 잠재계층성장분석, 다집단 잠재성장모형, 기술통계 및 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 먼저, 장애인의 차별경험의 변화유형으로는 “낮은 차별 집단”과 “높은 차별-감소 집단”의 두 유형이 도출되었다. 유형별로 성별, 연령, 배우자 유무, 학력, 취업 여부, 장애정도 및 장애유형에 따라 스트레스 궤적에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 유형별 스트레스의 궤적을 검증한 결과, “높은 차별-감소 집단”이 “낮은 차별 집단”에 비해 스트레스 궤적에서 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 결론: 이를 토대로 장애인의 차별경험에 대해 교차성을 고려한 접근과 장애인차별금지법의 인지도 개선이 필요함을 제언하였다.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify the different discrimination typologies experienced by people with disabilities using a longitudinal study and to identify the stress trajectory according to each discrimination typology. Method: For this purpose, 4,152 data, which derived from the 2nd wave of the PSED (Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled) between 2016 and 2021 were utilized. In keeping with the purpose of the study, latent class growth analysis, multi-group latent growth model, descriptive statistics, and cross-tabulation were conducted. Results: First of all, two types of groups, one is the low discrimination and the other is the high discrimination-reduction, were derived. For each type of group, there were differences in gender, age, marital status, education, employment status, degree of disability, and type of disability. Finally, after verifying the stress trajectory according to each group, the group who experienced high levels of discrimination-reduction showed higher levels of stress in the stress trajectory compared to the group who experienced low levels of discrimination. Conclusions: Based on these results, this study suggested that the approach which considered intersectionality and enhancement of awareness of Disabled Discrimination Act were needed.
