초록

》본 연구의 목적은 농구활동 프로그램이 정신지체학생의 예측타이밍에 미치는 영향을 규명하고, 이를 통해 운동 상황에 대한 집중력 부족과 기초적인 운동 능력의 지체로 인하여 게임 및 스포츠 활동에 효과적인 참여가 어려운 정신지체학생의 운동 프로그램 개발에 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 서울 소재 정신지체학생 중 남자 중학생(13세~15세)을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누어 각각 13명씩 선정하였으며, 실험집단은 10주간(주 2회, 매회 90분)의 농구활동 프로그램에 참가하였다. 자료분석은 사전, 사후 검사의 집단 간 차이와 실험집단의 집단 내 사전, 사후 결과에 대한 차이를 알아보기 위하여 공변량분석을 실시하였다. 이 때, 가설검증을 위한 유의수준은 α=.05로 설정하였다. 이상의 과정을 통해, 농구활동 프로그램은 정신지체학생의 각 속도에 대한 예측타이밍 정확성을 나타내는 절대오차, 항상오차, 가변오차를 개선시키는데 매우 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

Abstract

》The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of basketball program on anticipating timing of students with mental retardation, and the results can be used for providing basic data for the production of effective motor program for students with mental retardation who have a difficulty in effective participation on game and sports activity due to lack of concentration in sports situation and retardation of the capacity for locomotion. Middle school boys with mental retardation (between the ages of 13 to 15) in Seoul were selected with consent from their parents, and basic data on the subjects were collected by conducting preliminary test on their social maturity scale, physique and physical fitness. The experiment was conducted for 10 weeks, 2 sessions per week, and 90 minutes per session. The data were analyzed by ANCOVA to fine a difference between the experiment and control group. The significant level was set at α= .05 to verify the hypothesis. The conclusion showed that the basketball program was effective for the improvement of anticipating timing that was represented AE (absolute error), CE (constant error), and VE (variable error) of students with mental retardation.
