청말 중국의 서구문명 수용과 소통논리

Abstract

The late of 19th century is the period which New change happened and made new paradigm from things of civilization to thought. But It never means that modern civilization of China is direct application of western civilization. There are many differences between modern civilization of China and that of Europe. This is mainly caused by difference in the logic of conception on whole culture between China and Europe. The reform idea of Chinese intellectuals is on the basis of the notion of organic state. They likened nation to body, and attributed weakness of nation to the severance between the upper class and the lower class, nation and peoples. So they request communication among the both. that is to say, The sign of modern civilization such as Parliament, newspaper (magazine), press, school, rail road, telegram, bank, etc. introduced for the purpose of communication in the each field. This article analyze the communication logic as china's perspective of modernization in focusing on the Brief history of civilization(wenmingxiaoshi) and Commerce's Sound(shisheng).
