중국 영화학을 둘레 짓기 위한 한 가지 물음― 중국 영화학은 웨인 왕의 영화를 다룰 수 있는가?

Abstract

This work is a process to set category of Chinese ciematology. The reason that throw such question which it can study Wayne Wang and his films is that I guess he can take a synecdochical function. He is a extreme case that take the boundary line in the category of Chinese cinema. So I think that question him can research into the extreme category of Chinese cinema. And it has been linked to a notion, the ‘(Overseas) Chinese cinema' or ‘Chinese (Emigrants) cinema' or ‘Huaren Dianying(華人電影)', that is used much in China recently. That notion started Sinocentrism is the other expression of the world-view of Chinese ideology. This work, at first, rearranged the filmography of Wayne Wang and estimation about his films. And then lighted on the socio-cultural meaning and context of the notion, ‘(Overseas) Chinese cinema'. By conclusion, it has been also involved regulation, ultimate purpose and methodology of Chinese Cinematology or Chinese cinema studies.
